Good to know

  • Mac Users: Please install the prepare App into your Applications folder.
  • For optimal performance, use the program within the grandMA network. This allows direct uploads to the desk. However, most functions are available through the USB Export, enabling you to import files later if needed.
  • Running an onPC on the same computer? Choose Local Export in the Settings tab. prepare then copies the files directly into the onPC folders — no FTP/SFTP server needed.
  • Ensure the setup window (menu window) is closed on your desk when uploading patches.
  • All measurements are converted to meters. Choose the unit of your CAD file when importing.
  • If you are using an onPC solution on another computer, you must set up a functioning FTP server for grandMA2 or an SFTP server for grandMA3.
  • All inputs are validated while you type. A field with a red hint has to be corrected before you can continue.
  • When you close the app with unsaved changes, prepare asks you to Save, Don’t Save or Cancel.
